AG Playscapes - Shade Sails

Shade Sails

Shade Sails for Childcare Centres, Playgrounds and Commercial areas

Custom playground shade solutions safeguarding children's health and comfort outdoors

At the heart of every exceptional childcare centre is a commitment to children’s safety, health, and well-being.

Shade sails are an essential for creating safe, comfortable outdoor spaces that protect children from harmful environmental elements while supporting their need for active play and exploration.

Our custom-designed shade sails provide up to 98% UV protection, creating safer play environments for children while significantly reducing harmful sun exposure.

Protecting your playground investment

Playground shade sails don’t just protect children—they also preserve your investment.

Without adequate coverage, equipment can fade, crack, rust, or become dangerously hot to the touch. Our shade sails are engineered to reduce wear and tear, prevent overheating, and extend the life of your playground—creating a safe, comfortable, and enduring environment to enjoy for years.

Custom misting solutions

Young children are especially vulnerable to extreme heat. Unlike older kids and adults, they have smaller bodies that absorb heat more quickly, sweat less efficiently, and dehydrate faster. They’re also less likely to recognise the early signs of heat stress.

Our proprietary high-pressure misting systems — which integrate with our shade sails — offer an effective outdoor cooling solution, helping you create a safer, more comfortable space for children to enjoy year-round. By reducing heat stress and improving comfort, our systems support both the wellbeing and enjoyment of young children in outdoor environments.
